Merseyside International Street Festival
Liverpool, UK
is an annual free spectacle of colour, noise, excitement and entertainment bringing international arts to Liverpool. Every year dancers, dramatists, acrobats, musicians, puppeteers, comedians and stiltwalkers from all over the world and the UK descend upon Merseyside to perform on the streets, in the theatres and in the community centres. Kenya will be represented by the RASTA MOMBASA Acrobats from 25.07.-27.07.03.

Starting with the multimedia virtual reality stage production STAGE TV from Switzerland and Italy this festival in the city of Augsburg displays the wide variety of contemporary artistics, comedy, juggling, acrobatics, video animations, magic, clowns, a capella singers, music, travesty, cabaret, revue, street theater etc. Watch the competition Premio LA STRADA - who of the international street performers will win the price: 25.07.-27.07.03. RASTA MOMBASA Acrobats from Kenya will thrill their audience with their exciting flic flac, juggling, fire, limbo, humane pyramide show in African costumes on Elias Holl Platz 19:00 and 20:00 on 30.07., 31.07. and 02.08.03 as well as on Rathausplatz 18:30 and 19:30 on 02.08.03. Following the motto "circus theater meets arts" youths from Copenhagen, Belfast, Cork, St. Petersburg and Bremen as well as social and humanitarian international organisations, e.g. UNICEF, amnesty international, aid for Eastern Europe HIOB will meet in workshops, lectures, arts exhibitions and market and a final gala performance. RASTA MOMBASA Acrobats from Kenya will perform shows, hold workshops and give lectures as professional tutors from 08.08.-14.08.03.
Afrika-Karibik-Festival

It is already the sixth turn for this festival well-known in Germany's Afro, Reggae, World Music scene. Top artists like PATRICE will be live on stage and a colourful market with handicraft and food shops will again attract thousands of visitors interested in the rich African and Carribean cultures. RASTA MOMBASA Acrobats from Kenya will entertain the audience every day from 15.08.-17.08.03 as well as hold some workshops for those people who want to learn some acrobatic stunts themselves. Also, please, visit the handicraft shop of our friends Ella & Daniel as well as their furious and poetic fire performance WATAWINONAS there.
Last - but not least - chance to see the RASTA MOMBASA Acrobats from Kenya performing high-speed gymnastics, incredible power stunts and playing with the fire this year in Germany before they leave for Africa again: at the Heilbronner Sommertheater on 30.08.03 and at the Moosbacher Sommer on 31.08.03.
