31st of May 2003:" ... the following 11 circus companies had been selected by a committee of well-known international circus professionals to represent their countries at one of the world's biggest circus festivals, the "II Festival Mundial de Circo do Brasil" in Oct. 2003. 
1. Dime um beso – Argentina2. Rasta Mombasa – Kenya 3. Skiel Trapeze - China 4. Turbulence – Canadá 5. Rússia State Circus – Rússia 6. Fábio Dória – Brasil / Canadá 7. Cia Linhas Aéreas - Brasil 8. Cirque Èloize – Canadá 9. Can Can Volante- Brasil 10. Circodélico – Brasil 11. Cirque Barroque – França A selection of their best acrobats struggled for the price in the Circus Acts Competition Show. One number of this competition was presented by members of the famous Canadian Cirque du Soleil. 
We, therefore, proudly announce that the RASTA MOMBASA Acrobats from Kenya won the FIRST PRIZE of the competition 2003.See who where the winners ..."
